Giorgia Orlandi is a correspondent, presenter with over 10 ten years experience in journalism. She is a former digital media student at Columbia University J-school in New York. Over the years she has been working for international companies covering major news stories in Italy and abroad. Since 2018 she works for Euronews NBC, and from 2019 with the same company as Rome based "mojo" correspondent, operating as a one- man reporter shooting and editing news Pkgs from a mibile device. Previously she worked for BBC World News and BBC Scotland , TRT World and Monocle24.  

 

She has done live reports, covering a wide range of stories to include: the recent Covid - 19 outbreakthe migrant crisis, climate change and Brexit

Prior to that in 2014 she moved to the Balkans to work as presenter and foreign correspondent. She covered the UK and Greek general elections and she reported from the middle east and eastern Europe, including the anti-terrorism protest in Tunis after the Bardo museum attack, and the political crisis in Macedonia. During this time she anchored daily news bulletins and she presented a an hour long daily current affairs live show on national television
 

During her time in London between 2006 and 2014 she worked for Rai the Italian State television covering major international news stories including Princess Diana public inquiry, the Meredith Kercher case, the London Olympics, the Chilcot inquiry and the Litvinenko case.  

 

As journalist her articles and editorial were published on the Daily Telegraph and on Monocle magazine. She worked as regular live news commentator on foreign affairs on Monocle24 radio on a wide range of shows including the Globalist, The Weekend edition and The Briefing. Over the years she  interviewed prominent individuals including Italian Foreign Secretary Luigi Di Maio and former italian prime ministers Massimo D'Alema and Mario Monti .
